U.S. National Kubb Championship

Independent Cartography

Zach Fischer and I created this map poster during our independent cartography student-faculty directed study in 2018. This poster shows the growth of the annual U.S. Kubb National Championship over the years. We combined maps and infographic elements to present the data in a creative style with a unifying color scheme. We utilized ArcMap 10.1 for the spatial mapping and Adobe Illustrator for the graphic design.

Zach and I entered this project in the 2018 WLIA Map Contest. We were awarded second place in the Map Poster category, running against other students and GIS professionals statewide.
